This is it.
The organizers of Michael Jackson’s memorial concluded the service with ‘We are the world’ and ‘Heal the world’.
I am not going to conclude my short blogging life with any song.
Yes, I am concluding my blogging life.
That means, I will stop blogging after today.
Why?
It’s love, actually.
That’s all that I can tell, for now.
What that motivated me to start this blog on September 16 2008, has evaporated. Sizzled out.
I know it’s been less than a year, but I am deflated.
But my voice will still be heard, elsewhere, in another way.
For ‘nothing is impossible if we all raise our voices as one’.
So, farewell to friends whom I have made through this blog.
Thank you for sharing my thoughts.
You will still be my friend.
I will still connect. Somehow I will be there.
Farewell & God bless.

Surprise, surprise Peng! So dead serious arhh? Sure you aren’t keeping your options open?
Comeon, consider the many friends you have made through this nice lovely blog of yours. I’m sure we will all miss you, warts wits and all! Whatever, do take a good rest dear Peng, hope to see you cheerfully bounce back again in the not too distant future and do let us know when you are back in form.
Cheers!

Jong, you are the last person I expect to ask me to keep my options open! Ha! How can I let you enjoy the carefree life of a non-blogger, flitting from one site to another, ruffling feathers on the way – all by yourself?
I am going to join your bandwagon now!
Thanks for the great times and fellowship. We will still have them, that I am sure!

That’s like what you say, things must end, for new ones to begin!
Great to have met you. And thanks for those laughs!

Hi Sherry!
Thanks for following my journey. Now that I have discovered your blog, I will visit frequently.
As my friend Salak says, ‘good things must end, for better things to begin!’.
God bless.

“Blogging” is indeed an art and I know it’s never easy,

Hei Peng, just leave the option open. Let this blog stays and whenever you feel like saying something or speak your mind, come back and blog about it. I am also slagging in blogging these past few weeks but I will not announce the demise of my blog. I will just pop in once a while to hit at the devils who are roaming this country.
Did you join facebook?
Anyway, life can be simple or problematic, depends on each individual.

I know your feeling, one of despair.(this is how I feel). What with the enthusiasm before and immediately after the elections, it has fizzled off. The PR seems to be breaking up,cracks are appearing. We were given the opportunity but did not grab it. All said and done we must shoulder the blame. However we may be excused, as”there is a time for everything”. He knows best, who are we to change the course of Malaysian politics, best left to Him. This may sound like an excuse. I don’t think so. God’s richest blessing to you and your family.

Hi Peng,
I was away in Penang and only just found this post. And, I was sad to read this, but I know what you’re saying. I stay away from political comment, mainly because I don’t know what I’m talking about half the time! Hahahah! But even the little fluff that I write can be difficult to put down sometimes.
I hope you’ll come back one day and share your thoughts again.
It’s been fun knowing you in cyberspace
Do drop by The English Cottage once in a while for us to stay in touch, yah?
Hugz,
Pat

Richard,
Thank you for your moral support during my time of blogging. I know I can count on you to give me a nudge or two when I slack!
I will still make my rounds in the blogs, whenever I can.
You take care.
God bless.

Brian, from the very beginning of my blogging, we have shared a common faith in God to work the best for our country’s political issues. I still believe in that and I am glad that you still do.
No, Brian, we are not in despair, just perplexed..why all these are allowed to happen still. But God’s word has this assurance for us:
‘But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.’ (2 Corinthians 4)
Thank you sharing my thoughts. God bless you & your family.

Pat,
I have enjoyed your writing, always funny although sometimes you were upset about something. Do keep on writing!
I just cannot keep a balance between my personal life and blogging. Neglect of either side just makes me so guilty! So I made a decision to choose the one that matters more to me…
It’s a blessing to have made so many new friends. I will definitely stay in touch, through your English Cottage or wherever you we bump into one another!
God bless.

Sigh… I refuse to comment here cause I don’t wanna feel its the end of your blogging stint and I wont be able to read your wackiness and funny stories happening around your life.
I hope u will continue on and make a balance in between your life and blogging
If u don’t continue, I can only respect your decision and you owe me 10 drinking sessions… hahahaah!
don’t push too hard

Jarod,
10 drinking sessions is no problem, you drink plain water, and I drink chinese tea la!
I will keep my options open by keeping the blog here. But I think wordpress will automatically delete the blog if it’s inactive for a certain period of time.
Thanks for being my partner in the whackiness you mentioned earlier! I am funny cos I have ‘funny’ friends like you all!

The Whisperer
Well. what can I say here to make you change your mind? It is not my style either not to respect others decision.
It was nice getting to know you through blogosphere, Though our acquaintance may be short. your blog have been one blog where I would drop by for some of peng’s special thots.
You shall be dearly missed but I remain positive that we may meet up someday somewhere walking for one common cause.
Till then, I bade you ’so long’ and I sincerely wish you all the best in seeking your balance in life.

Hi Whisperer!
I am sorry to have let you and so many others down with my lack of tenacity.
It has been a wonderful journey blogging, making new friends (that’s the most treasured part), sharing the same beliefs, and fighting the same cause.
I am glad that when one teeny blogger like me drop out, there are hundreds more blogger like you who would still carry the torch.
Thank you for your encouragement. We will surely keep in touch through the common cause we believe in.
I wish you well. God bless.

Dear Peng
I only realised that you’d stop blogging recently. I had cut down on surfing the blogs and didn’t notice that you’d stopped.
I really did enjoy reading many of your posts and it would be remiss of me not to write something here.
So, dropping my grain of sad to the many other comments to say “Thanks” and to wish you the best that life can bring.
God bless

Hello Lita,
I have slowed down on blog surfing too.. sometimes I read but am too exhausted (mentally) to leave my comments.
Thanks for dropping by. I still leave this blog here, just in case I change my mind and decide to come bouncing back (sort of like leaving the back door open)!
I treasure our experience together at the candlelight vigils, and getting to meet you!
We will keep in touch through the blogsphere!
I wish you well and God bless!
