One day after May 7, the darkest day in Perak state history, the government offer sweets to pacify the outraged rakyat.

May 7: Perak Speaker YB Siva was manhandled and bungled off to a holding room to allow the crooks to carry on with their con job, with no regards and respect for the Speaker’s position!

May 8: Home Minister announced that 13 ISA detainees will be released. The 13 included the Hindraf trio; P Uthayakumar, T Vasanthakumar and M Manoharan wil be free in 2 or 3 days. No reason was given for this sudden goodwill!

IS THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AN ATTEMPT TO CONTROL DAMAGE ?

1. TO PACIFY THE RAKYAT, BY FINALLY DOING SOMETHING THE RAKYAT HAS BEEN CALLING FOR?

2. TO DIVERT ATTENTION AND FOCUS FROM THE PERAK SAVAGE ACTS TO SOMETHING ELSE?

3. TO AVOID ANOTHER BY-ELECTION (Manoharan is also the state representative for Kota Alam Shah in Selangor and it was recently rumored that he may be resigning) AND AVOID THE SHAME OF HAVING TO ADMIT DEFEAT?

Whatever it is, just know that damage is done, milk is spilled, NOTHING THE GOVERNMENT DOES WILL BE ABLE TO CONTROL OR REPAIR THE DAMAGE.

WE REMEMBER THE ASSAULT ON YB SIVA. WE REMEMBER THE ARRESTS OF RAKYAT. WE REMEMBER THE TRAITOROUS JELAPANG REP & BN’S COUP. ORANG PERAK BUKAN BODOH!

updated 9/5/09:

Jeff Ooi revealed that ‘The Review Board for ISA detainees is supposed to sit from May 18-19′ and when the Home Minister made the announcement ofthe release prior to the review, it indicates ‘there is no due process when it comes to deciding a person’s freedom. The Board is a rubber-stamp’.
Read Jeff’s post here.

SO ISN’T IT CLEAR THAT THIS ANNOUNCEMENT TO RELEASE THE 13 IS AN OBVIOUS PLOY TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM THE MAY 7 MAYHEM!

AGAIN I SAY, ORANG PERAK BUKAN BODOH!
